After an almost 2-year gap year, I moved from Istanbul back to Chicago, where I dreamed of finally starting my travel blog. I came up with the name “Your Global Bestie” because in my friend group, I was always the friend living abroad or traveling.

Your Global Bestie, however, is more than just about travel. Travel informs my life and seeps into every sector of it; there is no way to compartmentalize travel from the other parts of me. So whether I am helping you plan a trip, guiding you in a yoga class, or selling you jewelry, each offering is my way of sharing my passion and things I have discovered and loved from around the world.
